Happy 90th anniversary Physics-Uspekhi!
To celebrate, a new
website has been launched and features:
- A series of editorials on issues that have faced the journal throughout its history
- Free online access to selected articles that have made considerable contributions to physics
- Information on current activities and events
Physics-Uspekhi(Advances in Physical Sciences) is a translation of the authoritative Russian-language review journal in physics, Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk, first published in 1918. The English translation was published under the title Soviet Physics Uspekhi (1958-1992) and from 1993 it has been published under the title Physics-Uspekhi.
The papers cover a wide spectrum of scientific research in physics and associated fields by international authors complementing author contributions from Russia and other states of the former Soviet Union. The editor-in-chief, Vitaly L Ginzburg won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2003.
Historic Archive
The Turpion Archive (1958-1998) contains full-text articles of top-level research in physics, with over:

- 268,000 pages of scientific research
